Abstract: There will be exercises at the end of each class to help understanding the concepts covered. Although the continuous case is important, the discrete case provides a better comprehension of the various aspects of the theory without resorting to much more difficult theoretical concepts such as measure theory. We will remain within the framework of finite-dimensional spaces. We will cover various concepts such as linear programming, duality, Wasserstein distance, etc.
